Perhaps the most memorable part of Alice in Wonderland is the Mad Tea Party. How can you not remember The Mad Hatter and the March Hare singing "A Very Merry Un-Birthday" to you? What are the odds I get to this part of the story of Alice in Wonderland the VERY week I go to Disneyland and ride the Alice and Wonderland rides that have to do with the Mad Tea Party? I feel like every day in LA is a birthday party, especially when I was in Disneyland....except for when it started pouring down rain around 4:00. That felt like a very bad un-birthday party for sure. California is currently in a drought right now and I have not seen rain here the entire time I have been visiting here, EXCEPT for the VERY day I went to Disneyland. How does that happen? I still had a fantastic and happy day regardless. Check out the rest of my "un-birthday" adventures this past week... they weren't so bad after all!
(9 photos in slideshow) The Four Seasons Hotel: Oh, my, gosh.... The Four Seasons hotel is gorgeous. We had a private event there for UGA alumni in Los Angeles and the President of UGA was in attendance, too. We had complimentary alcohol, meals, desserts, and much more. I connected with a lot of alumni that can one day help me out in the industry! I gave out my business card so they could have my contact information. I even met Meredith Seacrest! She was one of the nicest people ever. She is one of the most helpful people in the industry I've met yet.

I adore bookstores, so venturing out of my Barnes and Noble comfort zone was amazing. We spent a few hours in there. I could have stayed a lot longer, though. Their whole upstairs area was full of $1 books, so I bought a couple about success in the entertainment industry! I guess I found out what I'll be doing on my flight back in a week and a half! This is a must-go-to place for any book lover traveling to LA.
The Fosters on ABC Family! The Grady LA group got to go on the Warner Brothers lot (again, yay!) and toured the set of The Fosters on ABC Family. It's always so cool to see sets off of a television screen. They look so different! We had a great time on the set. Plus, we ventured off to the old FRIENDS set and saw Central Perk!!!
(24 photos in slideshow) Disneyland! Oh my gosh!! Happiness! Disneyland was so much fun, even though it rained. We had sunshine from the morning we got there to around 4:00. So we got a lot done in time before the rain. I got SOAKED. I had no poncho. Disneyland RAN OUT of ponchos, because why would a state in a drought need an abundance of ponchos in a park, right?! So I had to buy a new shirt and get myself a poncho after the rain calmed down from the torrential downpour. The fireworks and the parades got cancelled for the night... Emma and I were so disappointed! That's one of the BEST parts of Disney Parks. Oh well, we made the best of our night!
(5 photos in slideshow) Griffith Observatory! Darby, Lexi, Tyler, and I went into the Hollywood Hills and went to the Griffith Observatory to watch the sunset. It was gorgeous. You could even see the Hollywood sign from where we were! We got to watch all the lights in the city turn on and just enjoy the nice weather. Afterwards, we went to Cabo Cantina and I had a huge margarita the size of my face and one of the best steak quesadillas I've ever put in my mouth!
